Growing Strong Amid a Pandemic- Our new OC centers: Cerritos & Holder

Despite a major pandemic that has permanently altered our industry, Catalyst Kids is growing! Today we’re featuring two of our newest centers in the Southern California region, Cerritos and Holder as well as their Site Supervisors. 

Meet Michelle Alvarez, the Site Supervisor at Cerritos Catalyst Kids in Anaheim. “At Cerritos Catalyst kids, we strive for our future leaders to be happy, healthy, safe, engaged, and challenged, ensuring that they are empowered to chase and achieve their goals.  We hope to enhance the lives of the families that we touch and strengthen the community we serve.” Cerritos provides care for both Preschool and School Age children.

Michelle has a bachelor’s degree and is currently working on her Masters of Science in Education and has over eight years of experience in the education field. Her hobbies and passions include outdoor sports, recreational activities, and working out.  Her favorite thing about teaching is the relationships she builds with the students. 

Our Holder center is located in Buena Park and Samantha Hawkins is the Assistant Site Supervisor at this location. Samantha has been teaching in the field of child development for over 10 years. In 2018, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development. “I am so excited to use my years of experience and knowledge to help open this new center. I am looking forward to meeting and working with the children and their families as well as the Catalyst family. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, trying new recipes, and going to the beach with my family.” Holder also provides care for both Preschool and School-Aged children.
