Earth Month at Catalyst Family

Catalyst Kids – Patwin held our Spring Festival event last night. Around 20 families showed up to the event to celebrate all things Spring!! Students got to create their very own recycled plants, decorate some donated locally grown eggs, explore the environment with an egg hunt, and hang out with our center bunny, Poppy. Also who could forget the delicious food, families brought and shared some traditional dishes such as Capirotada and homemade desserts!!

Celebrating Earth Day in South Lake Tahoe! On April 22nd, Catalyst Community had a booth at South Lake Tahoe’s Earth Day celebration where school-age children learned about seed planting and planted their own seeds in little planters provided by us. The younger children buried and unburied fake bugs, and learned about what type of bugs they may encounter while helping their parents in the garden.
