Parent & Family Night Open House in Oxnard

Our Catalyst Kids – Del Mar center recently held an open house for families. With COVID protocols still in place at the beginning of school, we could not hold an in-person orientation and instead had one through zoom. This left many parents wanting to see the environment. Our teachers worked hard to create activities that were engaging and educational. The children were encouraged to be tour guides for their parents, and families were blown away by how much we do in our day-to-day.

They also had the opportunity to create a Tucker Turtle puppet and take it home along with the story. Throughout the night, we encouraged families to ask questions and highlighted our social-emotional area and why we continue to keep the Teaching Pyramid alive at the center. It was such a fun-filled night getting to know one another!
